                     The Girl Next Door

What a beautiful day we enjoyed today. The garden was dug over and hedges were trimmed.

What did we discover snuggled deep in the hedge.?

Even the little big bird house has a few apartments leased out for family.

I love to go to my neighbours home and relish in all that is country.
They have ducks and pigs, a miniature cow, lots of dogs, a ferret, a rabbit and chickens to name but a few.
My lovely neighbour is a real lover of all and makes a special effort to welcome everyone to her home. I sometimes hear her over the fence saying HELLO DARLING ....COFFEE? and I know someone has arrived to be nurtured.
I sometimes pop over with my grandchildren when they stay and for them it's a wonderland .Today Tas was a visitor  to all the wonders and their babies.
I just love my neighbour.
We sometimes swap magazines and idea's, plants and recipes.
We sit on her porch drinking coffee and solving so many of the world's woes.
We laugh and we appreciate life for what it is.
On crap days we say "We are having a crap day".On good days we say "Isn't life great ". Most days we are just happy to see the world and all the animals and the nature around us.

Notice the bottles in the tree? An idea from a magazine on loan from next door.Watch this space.

Mr Mini Cow shares his paddock with the ducks. Its a cosy arrangement.

I miss my Willow cat so how nice that this little one watches me arrive and leave via the connecting fence.

To be able to bring a bunch of Solomon seal to my neighbour and enjoy her huge smile is sunshine and Spring.

I feel quite tired this week as I have been extra busy and it's been a month of daily yoga.Thank goodness for that or I would not have the energy for so many jobs.

.....and thank goodness I have a neighbour that is on the same page as me so often .We soul search and talk about family ,cost of groceries or just how beautiful the gardens are.
Its peaceful and always a great  lot of laughter.
I hope you are all enjoying Spring .It only lasts a short time so i try to make the most of it with bunches of Lilac and tulips and lots of blossom.
Enjoy Spring  my friends and neighbours.

We seek for truth in ourselves; in our neighbours, and in its essential nature. We find it first in ourselves by severe self scrutiny, then in our neighbours by compassionate indulgence, and, finally, in its essential nature by that direct vision which belongs to the pure in heart.

                            SUN DAY literally

First stop for a Sunday out was to watch a demonstration of remote control toys...It was so hot and the sun so burning that we left to go for a bike ride around the bike track .The best option though was that we ended up in Dublin Bay...LITERALLY.

                             So much fun for everyone...
